Asha Bhonsle takes London by storm Asha Bhosle, the legendary and an amazing singer was performing in London and I was fortunate to be there to hear her. As Asha Bhosle proudly declared her age to be 68 years, there was an audible gasp from the massive crowd at Wembley Arena in London where she performed on September 16. Ashaji was singing after 12 years in London, so it was understandable why people came from far and near to hear this legendary singer, who has enthralled generations since 1947.

I must say that I have a special bond with Ashaji. I love this dynamic, ever-youthful and extremely loveable lady. I also rate her as probably one of the best cooks in the world. Her fish, prawns, biryani, crabs and mutton are the best I have eaten anywhere and I have eaten in lots of great places.
